After your recent reunion, what has brought you up together again guys?
We'll Danny dangerous and i (Sammy Serious) wanted to put together a best of the Zeros web site. During the process of getting the site together Cleopatra records decided to release the 4 cd box set Hollywood rocks. Cleopatra records called me up (Sammy Serious)and asked us to be on the box set, after that they put together a show at the key club and asked the zeros to do the show. i called Danny dangerous and he called Joe normal and we got Stacy starrr on drums and that's how it happened.

Why did you decide to split up?
I look at it as we never did split up i carried on after bandmembers quit the band but there was different lineups in the time frame from 92 until now.

What can you tell us about all the side projects you've carried out during these years?
I did my Sammy Serious Solo Stuff and another project called Serious Suicide, I made some records of the solo stuff and some records of Serious Suicide it's all different avenues of writing songs but with Serious Suicide i play guitar in that group and Psyche Suicide is the singer in that band, Sometimes i like to hang and play guitar while she gets the crowd worked up you can check out the other stuff at these web sites Sammy Serious and Serious Suicide also go to my space pages and be our friendly friends www.myspace.com/serioussuicide or www.myspace.com/sammyserious.

A brand new Zero's DVD has just been released: what' s about and which are the contents?
The show is a show that was recorded back in 1992 a lot of cool songs on it also. if you want to see more video clips on the zeros go to www.thezeros.us to see more video.

A track of yours called "Kokomo Joe" is included in the compilation "Hollywood Rocks!". Is it a brand new song or just an unknown one?
It's a song that was written a while ago that we recorded back in the days and it was released on the oh my Gawd Forsaken vaults of The Zeros and Cleopatra liked that song and used it on the compilation box set.

What is the aim of the "Hollywood Rocks!" box set?
That's a question for the record company to answer i am just happy that they let the song kokomo Joe be a part of the box set.

The 22nd of June you performed live at the Key Club for the promotion of the 'Hollywood Rocks' box together with SPIDERS AND SNAKES, BLACKBOARD JUNGLE, ODIN, JETBOY e FIZZY BANGERS. Had the gig gone off and how was the response of Hollywood' s public?
I had a great time at the show and the feedback was great we had a lot of fans there who were at the shows in the days but the people who came to see us old and new were extremely happy that we were doing it again the other bands on the bill were all great as we'll.

Which are for you the main differences between the glam scene of today and that 15 years ago?
Nothing, glam, rock, punk, the zeros were shades of all that stuff mixed together stuff new and old is great, when we did the show it felt like time stood still and people were very into it, i like this kind of music because the songs stand up even through the years and all the bands that played that night proved that.

Please give your opinion about these bands:
Glamour Punks:
Ruby Slippers:
Swingin' Thing:
Tryx:
Stars From Mars:
Queeny Blast Pop:
Alleycat Scratch:
My opinion would be that we played with all these bands on one bill or another and really even though it was competitive of each band trying to land the big record deal the zeros and myself were always at the shows supporting these bands and was very much into the music and image these bands were about.

Is there a band in the old L.A. scene which deserved more success than any others in your opinion and why?
All the bands listed above but yeah the zeros would be one of them too because it seems we were way ahead of our time and record company's just could not get a grip on taking the chance on the band. At the time it was very cool being very successful of a scene that was behind us all the way, and had a lot of support from people in the biz but record companys just diden't get it at the time.

Came to L.A. and I saw your logo marked on the walls of the Coconut Teaser. Is it still there? Who had that idea?
The Zeros were doing a video release party for our video loves not fair at the coconut teazer and the coconut teaser and restless records had the idea of doing the cd release party at the whisky a go go where they painted the whole whisky purple.
So when it was time to do the video release party the record company and the coconut teaser got together and also wanted to paint the coconut teaser club purple also and put the logo right in front on the chimney.

What role had Howie Huberman, Howard Stern and Butch Lukic in the history of Zeros?
They all had important roles in the history of the band Howie was our manager who also managed poison and had a guitar shop on sunset that we used to hang out at. howie was one of the first people to believe in the zeros and opened a lot of doors for us when we got to los angeles.

Howard Stern: The Zeros wrote a theme song for howard which he really liked and played it on his show everyday. it was crazy on how we introduced the song to howard and you can read all about it in the names volume one cd by the Zeros.

Butch Luckic: butch is the artist that drew the cartoon caricatures of all the members of the band, Danny Dangerous grew up with butch and invited butch to a show and after seeing one of our shows he then started drawing our cartoon shirts and then did our cd covers.

The movie about Motley Crue is still at the making of. If you'd have the chance to shoot a biographic film about Zeros which plot and actors would you choose to play your part in the movie?
the plot would be that we broke up and came back and made it as big as the Beatles and we would play ourselves but if we had to find someone else then i would ask the tellitubbys to do it.

e to all the Italian fans and tell us what about your future plans....?
We are going to be working on releasing a new cd but it is all still in the works and we are deciding what songs and stuff but for the time being there are two sites you can click on to get daily updates and download some cool songs from the zeros go to The Zeros.US also don't forget to sign our guestbook and you can also go to the
